They’ve got their eyes on the prize!

The Riot Halo team will be fighting for the crown and a share of the $4,000 prize-pool this weekend. The girls are confident going into the tournament, which shows with their 14-0 overall league record.

We had a quick word with @MLGQueen, captain of Riot Halo about her thoughts going into the tournament.

“We’re confident going into this tournament as we’ve played all of the teams and are yet to show weakness. We have all been teaming with each other for just as long as the other teams, just after the FPL was announced myself and Katey were a team of 2 looking for teammates. We quickly picked up Jourdan as our 3rd and then ran games with Monza as our 4th and things clicked instantly. We think that our advantage over other teams is that we are all good friends inside and outside of game. We’re also all individually skilled players yet we have great teamwork and chemistry together. Our competitive mindset also helps, as we all want our hands on that 1st place!”.

Even though the Female Pro league season is coming to an end, the girls are still looking to compete together at events and other female online and offline tournaments.

The finals will be streamed by the Female Pro league this Saturday at 1pm (EST) on SmashCast, put the date in your calendars as this is something you don’t want to miss!
